Actually more of a steam shed.  That's one of the cooling ponds for Dresden Nuclear Power Plant.

Over the years I have seen the Coal City FPD or Wilmington FD go out to alot of crashes at the north end of the bridge.  Add the Fog/steam with the three-way intersects, very low sight line, and high speed drivers and you get some smashes.
