Title: Lake Champlain Bridge Dedication
Post by: Alps on May 20, 2012, 08:43:40 PM
It never really got announced here, but Doug and I went to the bridge dedication as a parade entry - The Roads Enthusiasts. We held up SIGNS! and chanted for ROADS! and BRIDGES! and generally had a lot of fun. Photos and a video are floating around the Facebooks.

The pictures are awesome, Steve. It looks like it was fun. Were the two of you at the front of the parade line? Did you have to ask for permission in advance to walk in the parade?

We were in the middle, and no, we had the option of a float or not.

The Lake Champlain Bridge Coalition allowed any group the opportunity to be part of the parade.  We were in the middle of the parade line, but we had our own entry.
