Here is a video I made on 6/25/12. It starts out at the US 75/OK 66/I-44 interchange, and heads east on I-44. I turned around at the OK 51/US 64 interchange, and drove WB I-44 to the Peoria exit, where I turned off the highway. Most of the video shows the new I-44 that is six lanes, but a short segment of the original Skelly Drive/Bypass US 66 is still extant and is included in this video just past the Lewis exit. This section of road will be bypassed in the next phase of construction and removed. The old Skelly Drive was cool, but just had too much traffic on it and was dangerous. Note how rough some of the roads are, and note the bad Tulsa drivers (note the silver Toyota SUV that passes me on the right in an exit only lane, then cuts in front of me and heads to the middle lane without merging into the right through traffic lane.) I had the windows down and the radio off so you can hear the sound of the road.

The old section of Skelly Drive eastbound begins at 2:53 in the video. Westbound, the old section begins at 11:40. And note the bellend in the silver Toyota SUV starting at 9:14 who passes me on the right in an exit only lane, then swerves over 2 lanes to the middle lane. I was going about 70 (SL is 60) so this douchebag must have been going at least 80.
