Title: New Picture of I44/Broadway Extension
Post by: rte66man on June 26, 2012, 04:31:59 PM
While I was on vacation, the Daily Oklahoman ran a concept drawing of the new I44/Broadway Extension interchange:

It's too bad that office building in the NW quadrant was there, esle they could have had a full 4-level interchange without the looping ramps.

ODOT is working hard to upgrade interchanges in OKC but the cloverleafs in the Tulsa area are not being upgraded at all.

There are 4 that I can think of offhand:
I44/US75
I44/US64
I44/US169
US64/US169

I know the last one is scheduled for a rebuild within the next 2-3 years. Not sure about the others.

There's one at US 169 and 36th Street North, one at 169 and OK 266, and one at the Creek and Muskogee Turnpikes.  And the Creek/US 75 interchange is a 3/4 cloverleaf, as is the I-44/US 412/Creek interchange.  Other interchanges in the area have loop ramps.
