A small Bridge on US 301 collapsed from the the flooding related to TS Debby. Its over a small tributary of the St Marys River called Brandy Branch. On the right side of the picture you can see what is the beginning of a widening project
I found a little erosion to the embankmnets for US 98-FL 50 over the Withlacoochee River the other day, due to TS Debby. I sent the pictures in an e-mail to FDOT. They sent them to another engineer who told me it wasn't a structural issue, but they'd still send a crew to address the erosion issue. I still suspect the erosion could have a negative impact on the rest of the structure.
Regarding US 301 over the Brandy Branch of the St. Mary's, maybe this will provoke FDOT to speed up the widening project they've got going right now.
I've already marked US-301 in that area in OSM as closed in that area. Let me know when you hear of US-301 being re-opened. ;)
