Well, this song isn't exactly 80s-made, but it's inspired by the 80s.

Oh I love the 80's too... Best decade, musicwise, although the 70's were also not bad.

The late 80's, early 90's is my favourite period musically. A lot of good artists were around then like Marley Marl and the various members of NWA. The modern stuff isn't a patch on these old classics.

Wow! I can't believe nobody poste this one yet, AND I'm surprised I didn't think of it.  Epic, awesome song of the 80s......

Journey....Don't Stop Believing

And, to a lesser degree, Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer".

One thing of the 1980s music I like to wish for a resurgence is the power ballad. I spotted a clip showing some exterpts of power ballads

Video Killed the Radio Star-The Buggles, may've been released at the end of the '70's, but was a definitive song in the '80's (1st song on MTV).  Just Can't Get Enough-Depeche Mode, Obsession-Animotion...admittedly some Michael Jackson...the list goes on  :D

Heavy metal in general, but especially what I consider the "Golden Age of Metal"--from about 1978 to about 1993.

Here's a good web site for you fans of "hair metal"--www.houseofhaironline.com

I gotta say I'm more a fan of the 80's album tracks than only the hits... Most of the hits have become cheesy over time.

For instance, I like Toto's lesser known songs much better than their wellknown hits.

I love the 80s! Too many good 80s song for me to list, but what I don't like is "Come on Eileen". But what I really like are the British pop bands, like Duran Duran, Tears For Fears and ABC. I also like the lesser-known songs and one-hit wonders.
