BREAKING NEWS: The Turner Turnpike is now closed westbound from the Tulsa gate to the Bristow gate, due to heavy smoke and to allow firefighters to get to the fires. We will bring you more information as it is learned and confirmed.
This is why there are "DO NOT DRIVE INTO SMOKE" signs along the turnpikes.
