Does anyone else on here like reading through people's blogs from wild and crazy long-distance adventures? I particularly enjoy reading Arfica overland blogs, but there are others out there as well.

Wow, should this link even be allowed on here? The guy prefers asphalt highways to concrete. Blasphemy!

If I drove a motorcycle, I would too. The little grooves in concrete, especially when wet, can really affect balance when your path does not match the grooves.
Not Africa overland, but this is one of my favorites:
