I just checked out Bing maps (I usually use Google) and I noticed they are using "Blvd" 85 and "Branch" 85 for Business 85 around Greensboro.
Has anyone ever seen this, or even heard this terminology for "Green" Interstates before? This is a new one on me.

Another dumb thing in Bing since they changed the appearance to this.
It used to say "BUS," but not anymore. Now it says "Branch" or "Blvd" all the time, but I rarely see Blvd on it.
Why on earth that spot uses both is beyond me...
The "Branch" thing is all over the place on Bing Maps for US and state routes as well. I suspect, but do not know for certain, that somebody saw "Business Route" abbreviated as "BR" (e.g., "BR-85") and misinterpreted it as "Branch."
Incorrect expansion of BL (business loop) and BR (business route).
Well when you have Business Spur, what happens :D

'Spur' above the shield. Boring.
