Title: PA-3/I-476 Stub
Post by: Roadgeek2500 on December 24, 2012, 12:37:07 PM
I was wondering what this stub is doing here. PennDot is paving it to make a connection with Lawrence Rd, but the stub has been there for 10+ years

I have no idea

I'll bet it's for a shopping center or housing development that never got off the ground until now.

Yeah probably, but the Lansdowne Expy. is promising.

That was cancelled years ago. Shame too, it would definitely have helped traffic on US 1, PA 3, etc crossing through that area.

I doubt that stub was for a ramp to it.

The proposed Lansdowne Expwy/Blue Route interchange was way south of the West Chester Pike interchange.
