Title: Curious use of a Virginia DOT highway map
Post by: cpzilliacus on January 13, 2013, 11:09:01 PM
I was at the grocery store tonight, and this display caught my eye, not because I was interested in what was displayed (I don't even remember what was on the display), but because the background is a VDOT highway map.  I wonder if the advertiser is paying VDOT a royalty for using the Commonwealth's map (over the years, I have always liked the Virginia highway maps).

That's cool. A local Hardee's located next to I-95 used to have an actual VDOT map displayed at one of its entrances, but I don't know if it still does.
