I wasn't sure where this was appropriate. I searched, and found no reference to this, and thought road geeks would get a kick out of it. After just mentioning in another post that I don't have an affinity for signage (roads themselves are my interest), I realized I did have to share this one thing.
If anyone has driven US322/US6 east off I-79 into Meadville, PA you would have seen this very interesting artwork plastered around the grounds of the DOT facility there. They've taken thousands of old signs, and turned them into landscapes, flowers, etc.
Here's a link with many photos of them. I had been meaning to stop and get my own, but never was through on a good day and somebody already did the leg work.

I remember seeing a few of those displays about 15 years ago and did a double take. As a roadgeek, that is beautiful art!!!
