Hey everybody. I've loved roads for as long as I can remember -- my late grandfather worked for NYDOT and supervised the construction of large swaths of I-90 in upstate New York. I am fairly well-traveled in the lower 48, but definitely would say the Phoenix, AZ area has the most aesthetically pleasing, well-constructed, easy to use freeway system in the country in my opinion.
I thought I was the only one that enjoyed simply "going for a drive" to admire the roads until I stumbled upon this forum. I'm happy to find that I'm not alone! I look forward to chatting with all of you. :D
