I have not. I'm missing a bunch of three-digit interstates, which I don't pay attention to, and the following two-digit:
I-24: Nashville to western terminus
I-69: Indianapolis to Port Huron, also other sections which have opened in Indiana
I-79: northern terminus to I-76
I-85: I-285 (eastern junction) to Gaffney, SC
I-94: Detroit to Port Huron
I-96: Muskegon to western terminus (really should've gotten that when I was there! :banghead: )
If anyone has, it's likely Oscar.
Nope, far from it, even by state.
I'm close in a few states, including Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin (only I-535 is missing for me there).

Muskegon is the western terminus of I-96. Maybe you meant Grand Rapids?

probably. I-196 split to western terminus.

Even if I'm at 100% right now, that might not last. It's been such a moving target lately that I might've missed something new, or some new Interstate segment will soon open/be signed in a part of the country I rarely venture (like the part of just-approved I-69E between Harlingen TX and Brownsville TX).
I've clinched every mile of interstates, 4 5 8 10 12 16 19 20 24 26 27 30 37 40 43 55 57 59 65 68 71 77 79 80 81 83 84 85 86 93 94 96. 285 Atlanta, 495 DC MD VA, 295 NJ, 275 MI, 280 Toledo OH, 696 & 275 Detroit metro, 495 Boston metro, 695 Baltimore, 295 Richmond-Petersburg VA,271 NE Ohio, 270 Columbus OH, 465 Indy, 275 Cincinnati, 265 & 264 Louisville metro, 469 Fort Wayne, IN, 275 &640 Knoxville, 270 St Louis metro, 610 New Orleans, 110 Baton Rouge, 210 Lake Charles, LA, 610 Houston metro, 410 San Antonio, 820 &635 Dallas-Ft Worth, 494 Milwaukee, 240 Memphis, 265 & 440 Nashville, 630 Little Rock AR, 270 Denver, 635 & 470 Kansas City, 294 Chicagoland, 480 Cleveland metro, 270 Wheeling WV-OH, 595 Ft Lauderdale, 275 Tampa, 110 Pensacola, FL, 110 Biloxi MS, 220 Jackson MS, 220 Shreveport LA, 295 Jacksonville, 516 Savannah, 526 Charleston WV, 565 Huntsville AL, 165 Mobile AL, 459 Birmingham AL, 475 Macon, GA and more I cant remember right now :)
I've clinched the interstate mileage in Washington, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, and Nebraska, but that's it.
I've clinched DE's interstates (and had DC's signed ones before the 11th Street Bridge project). Plus I'm at 98% of Connecticut (only missing a few miles of 691), and 79% of Massachusetts (missing a third of 91, two thirds of 195, half of 495, and all of 291, 391, and 295).
Per CHM the only person to come close is Oscar, who is missing less than a mile of the entire system.

Assuming one only needs to go one direction to 'clinch' an interstate, all of DE's interstates can be clinched in about an hour's drive! :-)
Almost certain never to happen for me, at least on the national level. I do have both Delaware and DC's Interstates clinched, though, along with all but about a mile in Maryland (missing I-70 from I-68 to the Pennsylvania line).
I'm up to 88.46% as of my last update. I have, however, added more miles by clinching the rest of I-495 in MA, most of I-195 in MA (and all of it in RI). Also, will clinch some more in LA.
The only interstate I haven't driven the majority of (2di) is I-16 and I-49. Small portions of each. Most others, I've clinched mostly toward the borders or ends (I-29 also up to Fargo). International crossings, I usually stop at the most adjacent exit, unless I plan on crossing. Such as I-19 in Nogales, I've gone as far as Exit 12.
Most of what I don't have are 3dis. The last 20 mi or so of the LIE. I-80 to I-81 of the I-476. I have a lot of LA freeways still to go, and the southern ends of I-5 and I-15 from the LA area to San Diego are mostly blank. I do have almost all of I-8, though. Which is how I got the last two counties of CA. I do have most of future I-22 and future I-69 done in AL/MS and TX, respectively. I do need to get the new section of I-69 in IN when it opens. I've already driven the routing of what will become I-69 in KY and TN that's already freeway.
One big blank spot is probably Baltimore, Richmond, and the I-40/I-26 from I-95 to the coast. I got the end of I-26 and I-526. But, I-40 from mostly Mount Olive to the cost is blank. And the loops and spurs of Baltimore are mostly empty (including I-83 inside the loop).
Here's a short list of the 2di's I have clinched in all my years of traveling:
ENTIRE LENGTH
4, 5, 8, 12, 16, 17, 19, 24, 25, 29, 30, 37, 39, 43, 44, 45, 49*, 55, 57, 65, 66, 68, 70, 71, 72, 74*, 76 West, 78, 79, 81, 82, 83, 84 West, 85, 86 West, 87, 88 West, 88 East, 89, 90, 91, 93, 97, 99
PARTIAL
10: Los Angeles to Mobile
15: San Diego to Butte
20: Western TX to Atlanta
26: Southeast of Spartanburg/Greenville to Charleston, SC
35: Laredo to Kansas City
40: Barstow to east of Knoxville, Statesville to Wilmington
59: Slidell to Birmingham
64: Richmond to Tidewater
75: Cincinnati to Miami
76 East: I-80 bump northwest of Pittsburgh to Camden
77: Columbia, SC to Charleston, WV
80: San Francisco to I-76 bump northwest of Pittsburgh
84 East: Hartford to Sturbridge
94: Billings to Chicago/Gary
95: Miami to Boston
*-Applies to original portions only
That's a lot of traveling, right? :sombrero:
Though I have traveled a lot of most and much of them on motorcycle all I can claim at present is 35 and 30 and about 90% of 25 and 75. I hope we don't get into the three digit ones.

How oddly appropriate that I-69 leads to spring break destinations. I'll leave the rest to your imaginations.
Per CHM I have traveled 30.19% of the interstate system, or 14,454 miles. Which somehow seems like a lot to me (It's half of my total CHM mileage!), but I suppose those miles come more easily when they're all at freeway speeds.
Complete states for me are CT, DC, DE, NJ, and RI. My plans surrounding the Portsmouth road meet in a couple weeks involve adding NH, MA, and VT to that list.
Complete 2dis clinched: 16, 19, 66, 68, 78, 81, 83, 84(E), 86(E), 87, 88(E), 91.
Within a few weeks I should also have 89, 93, and 97.
Not counting all the freeways in Los Angeles (both interstate and non-interstate), the only interstates I have clinched completely are 8 and 17, although when I take road trips, I'm less interested in "bagging" a number and more interested in enjoying the drive.

"...more interested in enjoying the..."
ride, that is why I enjoy motorcycle travel :bigass: even more than by car. A person becomes part of the surroundings when on a motorcycle.

Generally, I'm not interesting in 'clinching' an entire route, but if I'm driving and I know I'll be getting off a road near where I have ended a previous segment, I will tend to drive further to get to it and then can have one solid line highlighted on my map.
I just drove from Los Angeles to Ohio and zig-zagged through Utah, Colorado, and Nebraska to hit the rest of the counties in Utah (1) and Nebraska (mostly along NE 2 and a few in the far northeast near US20), and tried to consider clinching the rest of US20 through NE, but had to cut short and did the most economical drive home from there. However, that still means I-129 is blank for me. But, I have a lot of IA, MN, SD, ND, and northeast MT to go, so I'm sure I'll be up in that area again some time.
No 2'd ones, but a bunch of 3'd ones
I-294
I-190 O'Hare exit in Chicago and Rapid City Spur in South Dakota
I-290
I-355
I-196

Makes it awfully tough to snap photos, though.
I could never do this. We're national park junkies more than road junkies, sometimes we have to get off the beaten path to see parks :)
States completed: Maryland and Delaware
States close to completion: New Jersey (missing 195), Virginia (missing 77)
2DIs completed: 66, 68, 78, 83, 84, 85, 87, 88, 97, 99
2DIs almost completed: 81 (missing north of Syracuse), 95 (missing north of Kittery, ME and south of West Palm Beach, FL),
39 and 88 are the only one's I've done completely.
I do not think I ever will in my entire life as there is just too much. Unless I come into unlimited amount of money, and give myself 6 months of traveling, as to actually do it in one sitting would require serious criss crossing and all. However, I do believe that I will cover a lot of the two digits, though including the boring I-10 drive across Texas and I-80 across Nebraska.

It took me only 36 years since I got my license, to more or less complete the Interstate system (for now). Don't give up!
Me? It'll never happen! (SIGH!) The only 2-digit interstate I've ever clinched is I-84, from Dunmore, PA (next to Scranton) to Sturbridge, MA. I've never done it in one pass, since I live near the route in central CT already.
This may be elsewhere on the forum or on a FAQ page (if so, apologies), but have any mathematicians in the crowd attempted to calculate a routing that would cover every mile of interstate in the Lower 48 (plus the District of Columbia) with the fewest number of miles? I'm assuming that the various routes would involve non-interstate travel and/or interstate "backtracking" on a given interstate segment.
Starting point at discretion of the calculator.
OK, I have clinched the entire lengths of I-8, 25, 82,86 (west), 85, 89, 64 84 (west) and 17. I have clinched I-10 through the states of CA, AZ, NM,TX, LA, MS, AL, I 40 through CA, AZ , NM, TX,OK, AR I-80 through, CA, NV, UT,

2di would be a lot different challenge than ALL. But the honest best way to do this would be to code each link with a distance/time penalty and run algorithms on it, rather than attempt to do anything by hand.
With my recent jaunt down I-684, I now have all of Connecticut's interstate mileage clinched. I also have all of Rhode Island now as well.
They join KY, WV, DE and TN in the "clinched interstate" category. Only I-579 keeps me from having PA clinched.
