Title: Clearview in Montana
Post by: corco on May 23, 2013, 10:20:12 PM
Pardon the blurriness of the picture, I wasn't expecting to be taking pictures on this stretch of road. I believe this to be the first known Clearview sign in Montana on I-90 in Billings. Pretty shitty job.

that's not Clearview.  those are all Highway Gothic Series D glyphs, just some stretched and some compressed.  someone had way too much fun fucking around with that sign.

Obviously so. I mean, I could care less what typeface the sign is in, 'cause I really don't pay particular attention to what they look like. Looks don't mean anything unless I know what purpose it serves. In this case, this sign is okay, but a font change may fix this.
