Title: Belmont Bridge
Post by: Signal on June 29, 2013, 11:21:23 PM
Apparently, Charlottesville's Belmont Bridge is in need of repairs ("rapidly deteriorating", "in need of major repairs"), so much so that they has to close the sidewalk. While they still let cars drive across it, right next to the sidewalk...  :spin:

Here's the sidewalk as it begins across the bridge:

The sidewalk on the other side of the bridge is open. One lane is closed also, but I'm not sure if it has to do with the bridge's conditions: http://goo.gl/maps/SWiyp
