Title: Change of Lane Configuration for the Brooklyn Bridge
Post by: dgolub on July 07, 2013, 07:26:51 PM
I was on the FDR Drive southbound this weekend and noticed that they changed the lane configuration at the exit for the Brooklyn Bridge.  They now have two of the three lanes become exit only for the bridge.  I guess that they must have determined that there are more people going to the bridge than to the Battery Park Underpass or the Staten Island Ferry.  Photos to come on GNYR.

That's been like that for a while now. And yes, most traffic taking the FDR at the Brooklyn Bridge is getting onto or off of it, so the configuration is warranted.
