It even says on the back of the box "do not use in car stereo systems".
It wouldn't have worked on any CD player where you didn't put the CD directly on the spindle.  It also wouldn't have worked with the tray-style CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives on desktop computers (the ones some people allegedly mistook for cup holders).

Every host or hostess needs a good "get the fuck out" song or album.  For a friend of mine, it was Summer Wind by Sinatra.  Not because he hated Sinatra or the song, but because it was so depressing, it would make people leave.
