Personal Injury Attorney Bilboards

Holy Heck Batman.  I drove from Sacramento to San Francisco a few months ago and was amazed at the number of personal injury attorney billboards.  Now, driving Tucson to Palm Springs, every other board is a personal injury ad.  Sweet James seems to have the most reach (Sacramento to Tucson), Raffi seems to have the most ads.  The most uninspired ad goes to "Husband and Wife Law Team).

Seriously, WTF.  Is there just no one else that wants to advertise on billboards?  We banned cigarettes and booze and this is what we are left with?

Have you noticed this ?

Or:  Are you just noticing this?

I live close to Reno, which probably first gained fame as the place to go for quickie divorces, so the prevalence of the ambulance-chasing industry isn't that surprising to me.  Their commercials are all over local television as well.

For a while, dispensaries seemed to be on billboards everywhere.  It seems like there's not quite as much money as originally thought in that business so there's been a bit of a decline.  Still, driving up US 395 east of the Sierra last week, there were quite a few billboards for a couple dispensaries in Mammoth Lakes, one of which showed up repeatedly with a grinning guy whose facial expression said, "Oh man, am I roasted!"

One of my favorite injury lawyer billboards I've seen in person is one in the Pittsburgh area that advertises only a 25% fee. (There are a few of these throughout the country.)

My other favorite just has a good URL: https://femaleinjurylawyer.com

Apparently, looking online, there's one out there for a different type of lawyer that says "Just because you did it doesn't mean you're guilty"

California state politics is tailor made for such (businesses).

We also have those ads here in Wisconsin, but not to that level or density.

Yes on I-80 in Solano County California we get this one the most. Anh Phoong is one of them in mainly because her main office is in Sacramento and in some cases her billboards goes to other parts of the Bay Area.

Yes, I see those billboards on the DFW area. They are also prominent radio and TV advertisers... which is another good reason why I stream my media from my server.

Was visiting the Cleveland/NEOH area last summer.  I don't remember his name, but he must be on the lips of everyone in town as nearly half his billboards are just a zoomed-in photo of an eye and a raised eyebrow.

Very creepy!

No, they're on YouTube too. Definitely seen them. However, I feel like I've seen them mainly on billboards along smaller highways, they are as low quality as you'd expect them to be.

My wife is Australian. She marveled at the attorney ads when she first came to the States. We now laugh at Australian personal injury attorney ads. Amateurs!

In SE Mich they are interspersed with billboards for dispensaries.

yea, also the incessant "One call that's all" and "It's all about the money!" ads on Milwaukee radio.  They and nothing else will be the death of radio in all forms as a media format.

That would be Tim Misny.

Joumana Kayrouz in Detroit is another personal favorite of mine:

Her billboards are better lately. Before she looked like Janis from the Electric Mayhem.

In Michigan you can't go far without seeing 1-800-CALL-SAM.

MN has been taken over by Nicolet Law, which also has a heavy presence in Wisconsin. You can also see a few billboards scattered around (mostly in the inner cities) about TSR, who typically recruits a local pro sports star for marketing on their billboards.

"Nicolet Law. The guy on the billboard with the beard." What if the billboard didn't have a beard?

I swear I've heard that "Nicolet Law" name before...

Anyways, myself I don't really pay attention to names of law firms unless they are really obscure and in turn I always put them in the back of my mind. It's the ads themselves that really get me, they used to be quite scary to me back when I was younger and first started seeing them to be honest, mainly because of how low quality and in-your-face they are.

Nowadays, I find it more funny because of how low quality they are. Also, they pretty much all look the same.

A while back, maybe ten years ago, the lawyer billboards in the Los Angeles area were outnumbered by lap band surgery ads. I remember one spot along the 405 where I could see six of them, all for the same company. But after a while they vanished, and we're back to lawyers.

I also remember that a very long time ago, maybe 25 years, there was an ambulance chaser somewhere in L.A. County whose billboard advertised his number as 888-888-8888. He must have paid a bundle for that.

Another firm I see on tons of billboards is Lerner and Rowe. In fact, when I type "lerner and" into Google, they come up long before Lerner and Loewe, which should be considered a tort in and of itself.

There's a 444-4444 lawyer phone number somewhere in upstate NY

Hm.  Does the advertising work if I can't remember his name but can remember the seven digit number?

Alexander Shunnarah billboards are so common across the state of Alabama that it's practically a meme with everyone in this state as to how common they are. Other lawyers are also quite common (in fact, sometimes it feels like every third or fourth billboard here is an attorney one), but none have had the density of Alexander Shunnarah (including to the point of him having two billboards stacked on top of each other at at least one point).
May or may not be batticorn.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

My girlfriend dumped me in the car. Let's sue her for everything she's got.

Kentucky is full of them. Not just personal injury lawyers, but Social Security and disability lawyers too.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.
