Osceola County, FL Roads

I was out driving yesterday and discovered that Osceola County, FL has extended Simpson Road by having it take over part of Boggy Creek Road from where it was ending at to the intersection where it ended at itself.  All the street signs have been changed to reflect it from the Simpson Road/ Fortune Road intersection upto where Boggy Creek Road and Boggy Creek Road meet.

This article http://www.aroundosceola.com/?p=6265 explains the reason for the change as the current situation with two Boggy Creek Roads has become confusing so Osceola County has done something about it.  Furthermore the part of Boggy Creek Road from Simpson Road to US 192 will be renamed Fortune Road, but when I was on it yesterday it still had Boggy Creek Road on its street signs.

So that running gag about Boggy Creek Road meeting Boggy Creek Road is a thing of the past for those of us who live in the Kissimmee, FL area.
