Anyone realize that this forum has been a lot calmer lately? (past few years)

Mid 2017 to early 2018 the forum was kinda a mess some of the time, just go to the second page of this forum and look at all the consecutive locked threads. I have nostalgia for those days, but I'm glad things are a lot more peaceful now.
My username has been outdated since August 2023 but I'm too lazy to change it

There a purpose to rehashing things like this?  At the end of the day this after all just a road forum.
