Similar to the "who lives the closest" thread, but the opposite.  Who lives the farthest from a paved road?  And who lives the farthest from a numbered highway, to include named freeways/parkways (for example, the Blue Ridge Pkwy, other National Park Service parkways, or the New York and Kentucky named parkways)?

As the crow flies, I'm just under 2.5 miles from the nearest paved road, though it's close to 3 miles to drive it.

Also as the crow flies, I'm 3.3 miles from VT 16, but it's over 4.5 to drive.

I've joked with some folks that I'm closer to beer than I am to pavement.  That's actually the literal truth (2.5 vs almost 3).

A mere 36 feet from the front door to pavement for me.  30 feet to sidewalk.

I used to live 4 blocks from US 64/87, and the 4 blocks were on a dirt road.

2 miles from US 231, 2.75 miles from US 431, and 6 miles from I-565.
Haven't measured from the garage to the street I live on though.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

As the crow flies, I'm 1.04 miles from US-97. Driving, it's 1.6 mi. As the crow flies to US-20, it's 3.95 mi (driving, 5.0 mi). It's about 35 feet from my front door to pavement.
