Driven Nevada 722?

All right, I have to ask... how many of you have driven the entire length of Nevada 722 near Austin, Nevada? This "minimally maintained" road was in very good shape when I drove it last Saturday, and it was a nice scenic bypass of US-50. I think I saw two cars total the entire length.

I drove it in 2007.  it's minimally maintained?  when I drove it, it was the same quality as US-50 in the area (which I had driven the day before).

That sign may be referring (in part) to snow removal during winter.

SR 722 doesn't really serve any major or minor towns, but does wind through mountains quite a bit. Mainline US 50 is an equally viable route (about the same distance, but much straighter and a faster speed limit). Thus, NDOT probably doesn't plow SR 722 often during winter snow storms since there's no real need to.
