Hello everybody, I am glad to finally be a member of this great forum!
I am interested mainly in interstates and u.s highways; I enjoy roads with high speed limits, and roads with twists and turns and great scenery.
I also enjoy learning about the history of roads. I find it interesting that a Highway that was once teeming with cars can suddenly become quiet, empty and forgotten.
I look forward to using this forum and learning lots of new things, as well as sharing my stories etc.
Thank you for reading and have an awesome day! :bigass:
Come ride with me to the distant shore...

It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

Well, you won't find anything like that where I live. Highest speed limit in all of Canada is 120 km/h (75 mph).

Still higher than anything near me (65).

Well, if I only factor anything close to me (not the entire country), I get TCH 1 with a limit of 100 (62).

Glad BC finally took some action and upped their speed limit. Here's hoping the rest of the country will follow suit.
