Thank you for that! When I lived in California, Angeles Crest Highway was a frequent roadway to my day hikes.
Remember: If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

At what age do you tell a highway that it's been adopted?

Fantastic pictures -- thanks for finding this.  I remember going on this highway in the very early '60's en route from Glendale to the Boy Scout campsite west of Wrightwood (along county N4).  Saw the early construction to connect 39 to 2 that eventually came to naught.  Still a great getaway drive!
