I observed yesterday that they've installed oversized street name signs on Park Avenue in Manhattan.  With 1 Avenue, 2 Avenue, and 3 Avenue already covered, it seems that they're gradually making their way from east to west.  Lexington Avenue has been skipping, and I'm assuming that it will be the same for Madison Avenue.
