The Interstate is Close Enough...no “TO” is Needed

I'll give some examples out of the gate so everyone knows what I am talking about...

At the interchange of US 20 and the St. Joseph Valley Parkway near South Bend Airport (Indiana), drivers entering northbound are given the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90) on top of US 31 North; the Toll Road entrance is a little over a mile away, with an exit in between.

East of Cleveland, Ohio, at the eastbound split of OH 2 and I-90, drivers staying on I-90 are also given I-271 south, without any previous mentions. I-271 is still about two miles from that split, with an exit in between.

On Chicago's South Side, drivers entering I-94 west from Stony Island Avenue will also be given I-57 South, although I-57 proper is another two miles out.

The above examples share one thing in common; although beneficial, the word "TO"  is omitted from the signage, likely because the junction mentioned is close enough to where the extra wording isn't necessary (though to the lay driver, it would be helpful).

Are there any more instances where such a situation takes place? Let's discuss. Thank you in advance for your responses.
"Slower Traffic Keep Right" means just that.
You use turn signals. Every Time. Every Transition.

"To" I-90 on Chicago Skyway, that "to" is not needed since it is already I-90 :sombrero:. However Chicago doesn't think the same.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Little Falls, MN - at the "business loop"  exit on westbound US 10, the pull through is dual signed as US 10/MN 371 even though 371 doesn't begin for another 3 miles.

To CA 210 from I-215 instead of actually signing CA 259.  CA 259 isn't the longest freeway in the world but it does have an exit onto Highland which makes it more than a glorified connector ramp.

Actually, that's been rectified a while ago. All the "TO"  tabs were dropped, and the Skyway signage was updated to reflect I-90's position from Wisconsin, including exit tabs on all the ramps. This was done around 2015.

Before then, however, I never knew the purpose of those "TO"  tabs until I read the history. The Skyway and the Illinois Tollway had weird histories.

This situation immediately reminded me of Montreal, Quebec at the junction with Autoroute 40 and 30 where a nearby autoroute is referenced plus two Ontario freeways which are at least 30 kilometers away.

Cleveland, OH : WB I-90 approaching Dead Man's Curve/WB SR-2 split...The overheads for the Innerbelt/I-90 West also list I-71 and I-77 without a TO banner...officially both are 4 and 2 miles (respectively) from DMC.

To get to I-83 south from Druid Hill east in Baltimore (exit 7) you have to take Mount Royal Avenue to North Avenue and use the on-ramp from North Avenue, but the turn from Druid Hill to Mount Royal is simply marked I-83 South.

One of my favorite examples would be this very old sign in DC (still there last I knew, though DC has been replacing signs, so no guarantees it's still there). The ramps to the Interstate are about a block to a block-and-a-half east of here, depending on which way you want to go, and 12th Street is about two blocks to the west. I-95 hasn't gone through this part of the District since the 1970s and I-295 has never passed especially close to this point, as you've always had to use the historically-unsigned I-695 to reach I-295 from here (or go through the streets, of course). If the sign were replaced today, it'd likely say "I-395 TO I-695."

(Note those are also rare full territory-named Interstate shields–they say "District of Columbia" in that spot.)

Québec is hard to apply to this thread because they don't use TO banners at all - not even a French equivalent.  Either all TO situations in the provence count, or none of them do.

The Bedford exit on the PA Turnpike is for I-99 and US 220. The exit actually leads to business US 220.

Conversely, the Breezewood exit is for US 30 and "To I-70 East."
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

The connection from I-691 East to I-91 South in Meriden, CT.  The ramp takes you onto CT 15 for about a half a mile before you take the left exit onto 91 South.  CTDOT does not use a TO in this case.

A funny aside: CTDOT historically did not use a TO for the Westbound Founders Bridge exit off of I-84 when there used to be a ramp to I-91 South.  The old signage read " I-91 SOUTH//Downtown Hartford" .  Actually saw this sign at the very beginning of the Roadrunner video by Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers.
Interstates I've clinched: 97, 290 (MA), 291 (CT), 291 (MA), 293, 295 (DE-NJ-PA), 295 (RI-MA), 384, 391, 395 (CT-MA), 395 (MD), 495 (DE), 610 (LA), 684, 691, 695 (MD), 695 (NY), 795 (MD)
