Kansas Turnpike Exit 53A?

Is this just bad numbering for the direct, cashless ramps to and from US 54/400/Kellogg Avenue Freeway, or is this a new interchange with 143rd Street East that I was unaware of?

Edit: Or are they just changing the southbound number of Exit 53 to 53B?  It would have been nice to have that explained.
