I'm looking for old DOT photos of highways that show the ighways themselves, old signage etc of my home state CT or the neighboring states of NY, & RI.

Does CT DOT have a museum or library with old photos and documents?

It would be interesting to see.
I only take pics of good looking signs. Long live non-reflective button copy!

Probably your best bet would be to check local libraries' historical sections (many of which have put historical photos online), although understandably much of those photos won't be of roads themselves. But there should be some where road and street features pop up as ancillary details.

CT History Online has about 6 or 7 photos, e.g. CT 10/70 in Cheshire. Search: http://www.cthistoryonline.org/cdm-cho/search.php
My first SF/horror short story collection is available: "Young Man, Open Your Winter Eye"
