Do you use the local public library?

Today, I took DART to downtown Dallas and the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library to review four books which were not available at any of my local branches. 45 minutes via light rail, plus ten minutes walking. When I got there, I found my books, set up my laptop, and went to work.

I don't know what it is with that library's internet, but it would work, then slow down, then stop working. I had to restart my browser. Finally, I established a VPN connection to my home server and everything was fine. Weird.
