Hey y'all, it's been a minute.
I haven't had much time for this hobby for the last year and a half.  But circumstances have changed to where I can start reengaging with my fellow roadgeeks.

The why is honestly rather boring.  Just career stuff that went awry and had me too busy and exhausted to engage with the forum for a while.

I was a fixture in the fictional interchanges thread and hopefully you'll see some new stuff from me in there again.  I never let my hosting option for my submitted maps to lapse so those should still be in there.

I'm sure I missed a ton of inside jokes and interstate news that might be fun to catch up on.

So I guess welcome back to the guy with the nice looking fictional maps, the fairly snarky demeanor, and an encyclopedic knowledge of certain geographies.  :sombrero:

Awesome! I also make road illustrations in Inkscape (one of these days I'll finish my existing project and post it here).

I had to laugh; top thread in fictional was something about Alanland. :-D

I think Fritz and the Interstate Empire more or less have conceded defeat.

Welcome back, 3MX.  I've cited some of your fictional work elsewhere in your absence.

I looked for a goodbye forum but couldn't find one. Where is the appropriate place to flounce?

You know, I can't help but wonder what the sanction would be for a member who violates that last rule (that is, the prohibition on "goodbye" threads) if in fact he actually does leave the forum after posting that thread. Would you simply lock him out so he can't come back if he were to change his mind?

Didn't someone try to actually do an "epic flounce" about a decade ago?  I want to say it was someone in my area.
