Most replacement numbers for one decommissioned route within a state?

When US 99 was removed from California in the late 1960s, the following numbered routes ended up directly replacing some/part of the former routing (not counting the still-existing Route 99, or existing routes that were always on a brief concurrency with part of US 99, i.e. Route 20 and Route 36, as opposed to taking over a whole alignment) -

Route 273
Route 263
Route 3
Route 265
Route 65
Route 113
Interstate 80
Business 80/Route 51
US 50
Interstate 5
(1964 Route 163)
(1964 brief segment of Route 159)
(1964 Route 212)
Interstate 10
Route 86
Route 111

13 existing designations other than State Route 99 have supplanted US 99 and its branches in California, an impressive total.

Former US 66 in California was supplanted directly by these routes, other than State Route 66...

Route 2 (taking over a portion of road that was 1934 Route 2, but became US 66 from 1937-1964)
Route 110
(1964-1992 Route 248)
(1964 Route 159)
Interstate 215 (originally Interstate 15 and Interstate 15E)
Interstate 15
Interstate 40 except for the loop through Amboy

A total of 5 existing routes supplanted US 66.

Does anyone know of another single-state example that has more replacement numbers for one route than US 99 in California?

Including county routes?

If so, I can come up with a couple of 10-spots in Minnesota.  But not 16.

I'd love to see what those ten-spots are, so yeah, county routes would be fine.  (Which would add a couple more to US 99 here, I'll have to check on that!)

For former US 16 (excluding the part replaced by MN 16):

- Rock CSAH (County State Aid Highway) 4
- Former MN 17 (existed ca. 1977-1980, between I-90 Exit 3 and US 75 in Luverne)
- Nobles CSAH 35
- BL I-90 Worthington
- Jackson CSAH 34
- Martin CSAH 26
- BL I-90 Fairmont
- Faribault CSAH 16 (including a really old interchange at the former US 16/169 junction, dating from 1949)
- Freeborn/Mower CSAH 46
- MN 13 (in Albert Lea)
- MN 105 (in Austin)
- Former MN 116 (existed ca. 1965-1976 in Austin)
- BL I-90 Austin
- Mower CR 60
- Mower CR 59
- I-90 (between Exit 189 and Exit 193)

Okay...so that one's a 16.  I could arguably make it 17 if I include BL I-35 Albert Lea, but since that Business Loop fully duplexes with US 65, and US 65 has existed since long before US 16 was dropped, I chose not to include it.

This next one isn't a decommissioned route per-se, but when US 52 was moved onto I-94 between Moorhead and St. Paul, it left the following:

- BL I-94 (Fargo/Moorhead)
- Former MN 231 (existed ca. 1962-1987 in Moorhead)
- Clay/Wilkin CSAH 52
- Otter Tail CSAH 88
- Otter Tail/Grant/Douglas CSAH 82
- Todd CSAH 51
- Stearns CSAH 72
- Stearns CR 186
- Stearns CSAH 75

Since I-94 was built largely on top of US 52 through most of Stearns County (which itself was put on new alignment between Sauk Center and Avon in the mid-50s, one could arguably include the following:

- Stearns CSAH 65
- Stearns CR 157
- Stearns CSAH 60 (through Freeport)
- MN 238 (in Albany)
- Stearns CSAH 54

...for a total of 14.

If we're adding county routes and more business loops (for routes other than the replacement of the same number)...there's a few I've overlooked in that case for US 99 in California:

- Business I-10 in Indio (not sure if still existing)
- Former I-110 (now spur of I-10) segment of San Bernardino Freeway between I-5 and US 101
- Route 204 in Bakersfield (cosigned with Business 99)
- Route 120 between I-5 and Route 99 in Manteca (which was US 99W in the early 1930s)
- (former?) Route 275 in Sacramento/West Sacramento
- former Route 256 in Roseville
- Route 96 between Route 263 and I-5

That brings US 99's total up to 16 or 17 existing designations, and 6 former designations, that have supplanted the old US route!

Revive 755

For US 66 in Missouri - granted there will be a problem of determining when/which alignment the routes replaced:

* MO 66
* MO 96
* MO 266
* MO 744 (pre expressway alignment?)
* Business Loop 44 (Waynesville, St. Robert)
* Rte Z (Pulaski County)
* Business Loop 44 (Gray Summit, Pacific)
* MO 366

Using what I'm sure is the pre-expressway (the route later upgraded to freeway for I-44) alignment:
* Rte OO (Greene County)
* Route CC (near Marshfield)
* Route W (near Lebanon)
* Route AB (MO 133 to MO 17)
* Route ZZ (Crawford County)
* Route AT (Franklin County)

If the secret/Illinois supplemental highway number can be found and figured out, there ought to be a decent number of replacement routes for US 66 in Illinois also.

Are such routes signed, though?

In that vein, I'm not sure all of the replacement routes for what was US 99/99E/99W have been signed in the field, namely..

Route 265 (may be signed now)
Route 51
1964-1994 Route 256
1964 Route 159 (only the segment that was solely Route 11 was retained from 1965-1992)
1964 Route 163
1964 Route 212
1964-1968 I-110 on the San Bernardino Freeway

There is one non-shield text sign for Route 275 still remaining though.
