Almost every Michigan map to this present day has the US-31 freeway from Napier Ave to I-94 in Berrien County as under construction when it will likely not be completed for at least 10 years, if ever. Has it been officially cancelled?

I might have an Oklahoma map somewhere that shows the Riverside Freeway as proposed.  The road was built as Riverside Drive, as a 4 lane surface street.  It's really narrow north of I-44 and has some nasty curves in it but it widens out and straightens out south of Skelly Drive.  I don't have a map scanned though.

I found this on the aaroads facebook page:

It shows the Riverside Freeway as well as the unbuilt Osage Expressway and the Gilcrease, which is unbuilt between the Tisdale (the southern part of the Osage Expressway) and 51st Street near the I-44/244 western junction, which may be built as a turnpike.

hot spring bypass northern extension and the nashua bypass

Are you referring to the Hot Springs, Arkansas bypass?  As far as I know, it is still on the books.  It will likely be built as a super 2 with provisions for widening it to 4 lanes in the future.

No.  IIRC, it is being built currently.

I remember sending a letter to Ronald Reagan around 1983 asking him to allot money for US 131 to be built as a freeway to the straits.

What a dork I was.
