Winston-Salem, NC to Topsail Beach, NC

Do you find Google Maps route the best? Exit 385 to NC 41 then NC 50. Or do you find a different route faster.  I don't know if anyone can answer this but I was thinking someone that travels in Eastern Carolina or lives in the area may be able to answer this.  Thank you

I find exit 414 (Castle Hayne) to NC 210 to US 17 to be faster than NC 41/NC 50. However, US 17 has gotten busier over the years.
