On May 13, 1913, the State Reward Trunk Line Highways Act was enacted creating Michigan's state highway system. In honor of the occasion, Wikipedia is highlighting the article on the system as "Today's Featured Article". Since the servers operate on Universal Coordinated Time, the article has just appeared on the Main Page when the time rolled over to Monday's date on the servers.
