How many miles of road does the US Highway system have?

I'm NOT referring to the 1956 interstate system, which has 43,000 miles.

I'm asking about the US highway system, which was first instituted in 1926.

I'm just wondering how large is the US highway system.  I"m guessing the US highway system still has more miles of road than the interstates, even after the truncations of some routes and the decommissioning of US-66 and US-99.

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

The Clinched Highway Mapping project (which does not double count multiplexes) has numbers showing:
Interstate Highways: 47,933 miles
US Highways: 137,933 miles
Even though roads and multiplexes come and go and these numbers are constantly changing, these are good ballpark numbers.
