Right of Way Markers - different styles

Noticed that Louisiana has R/W markers stamped with four different styles: LHC horizontally for pre-1930 Louisiana Highway Commission markers, LHC vertically for post-1930 L.H.C. markers, LDH vertically for La. Dep't of Highway markers, and DOTD for the current DOTD, up to 1980. However, driving along Pecue Lane in East Baton Rouge Parish, aka EBR PR 29, I noticed that there were right-of-way markers with EBR stamped, vertically, to mark the East Baton Rouge road r/w. I've posted a copy of the image below, but what intrigues me is that it's a parish r/w marker (aka county marker), which I have never ever seen before, or heard before. Post images if you'd like, and let me know if there are any in other states that would be marked on a parish/county road!

Because of an on-going controversy involving the Huron Mountain Club, the Marquette County Road Commission (over a proposed abandonment of County Road KK and its bridge over the Salmon Trout River), the Marquette County Sheriff's Department (over the deputization of the HMC's security staff) and anglers who want to fish on the river, the MCRC has erected right of way markers on the road.

If you load the news article online and click the second picture, you'll see that the MCRC used primary county road marker blanks and substituted "R/W" in the space where a number would normally appear, like in this photo.

Ahh... Well that is quite interesting. Noticed a few more of the parish/county markers today, on different roads. It seems that one of the roads was transferred to parish control after the state dept turned it over in the sixties. If you look at any photos of Louisiana right-of-way markers, they're in the same design, just LDH for the state instead of EBR for the parish.

I grabbed a quick photo of this one in Branson, Missouri.

I was perplexed for a while, because it's in a city park along a hike/bike trail.  The road in the background is a just a local street, not a state highway by any stretch.  Then it dawned on me.  So, while my wife was stretching after our jog, I went around the corner of the trees to the left, clambered up the embankment, and found a nice view of US-65.

If you go here and the 4th picture down, this is fairly common in rural Minnesota.
