Mast arm and span wire at same intersection for permanent signals

Per Streetview, the IN 37 intersection with the ramps for EB I-74/I-465 uses span wire for all but the signals heads for the EB right turn lanes.  The EB right turn lanes are mast arm mounted.  I suspect this is extremely rare - are there many other locations somewhat like this, excluding locations where span wire signals are used for one or more legs during a construction project?

This setup is basically the same as when it first went in back in the late 80s when 114 was widened to include a center turn lane, although the original brown large poles for the span wire are gone.  The mast arm and its signals for the side street do date to the late 80s still.

Down the road and debatable for this thread is this setup which is at an offset intersection; one could argue that the signals are at separate intersections, but they all are coordinated and were also installed in the same 114 project (brown masts and poles were used throughout for overhead signals).

Further east on 114 is another example which has what I bet would be very common  like what UCFKnights mentioned--right turn lanes with their own mast arm signals while most are on the span wire.

Six miles east of the original example posted here there's the interchange between I-465 and Emerson Avenue. It's a SPUI interchange so there's only one span-wire set up for all directions, but there is a separate mast arm light for traffic coming off of eastbound 465 onto southbound Emerson.

We've got a few here in Huntsville, AL. These are the three that come to mind for me:
Drake Avenue & L&N Drive
Andrew Jackson Way, Pratt Avenue, and Holmes Avenue
Pratt Avenue and Russell Street
Weatherly Road and Bailey Cove Road - though the signals were all on mast-arms when street view went through, the one on the right has since been replaced with this span-wire:

Florida has plenty of them.    New Jersey used to have them at some places around the North Jersey Metro Area, before NJ decided to go exclusively mast arm and bright yellow.

Interesting that INDOT used a mast arm in parallel with the span wires that aren't holding anything; INDOT has done PV signals on span wires in places.  Must be some reason particular to the location or those signal heads.  (It could be that 3M PV signals, which is what I think I recall on other INDOT span wires, are more robust to span wire placement.)

Indeed I had a moment of Duh when thinking about the topic before....I knew there was one I was forgetting.  And what do you know, it is at an intersection I traveled through nearly daily for over 4 years.

The 3M PV heads thing finally made this one kick in.  How could I forget it?  Mast arm and span wire, mixture of PV and regular heads on the span wire....this one has it all.  How could I forget it before?

Remember that the link I posted is a different district than what I live in but there at least 5 span wire PV installs along US 12 in Gary. So i couldn't really tell you why they were installed that way. The first time I saw it, i thought it was possibly for wind resistance. If PV signals are installed on mast arms in the Northwest district, it's usually because the whole install is a mast arm install.

There's a few of these in the CNY area.  One is on Lake St at US 20/NY 5 in Geneva, and it's pretty obvious that it's to keep cars from stopping on the railroad tracks.  Another one is at the east end of Erie Blvd in DeWitt.  I don't know why there's a separate mast arm since the span wire is closer than the maximum distance in the MUTCD.  Another one is on NY 5 in Oneida.  I mentioned it in another post, and I'm assuming it's so cars stop before going down the hill so they can be seen.  Lastly, there used to be one here in Auburn at the intersection of NY 326 and US 20/NY 5.  The span wire crossed US 20/NY 5 with a post in the median of NY 326, and the mast arm for NY 326 was in the median of US 20/NY 5.  The picture below is from Doug Kerr's Flickr account, and according to the NY Ends page for NY 326, it was taken on December 1st, 2001.  Note the mast arm to the left of the left red signal head.

One mixed intersection near me: River Rd at Pioneer -- the slip lane was redesigned about 10 years ago and the crossing was moved upstream. River Rd didn't change, but the movement to Pioneer was modified, hence two different signals.

Hopefully so as it looks like the pole in the median had mast arms, lost them in an accident so that was the makeshift measure.

edit:  Not so as it has been the same way since at least 2007.
