In Flagler County, when was the highway (now SR 11) re-routed between Bunnell and Cody's Corner? Old maps show the highway originally using Old Haw Creek Road and CR 304, but I cannot nail down when the change occurred.

The 1948 Official Florida Highway Map shows SR 11 using this old route. The 1956 Flagler County General Highway Map shows SR 11 on the current route.

Old maps indicate that this highway's previous numbers were 134 and 151.

2000 NBI shows the bridges on the new alignment as being built in 1940. 1943 aerials show it complete.

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

This means that the 1948 Florida Official Highway Map is wrong, which is what I suspected.
I totally forgot to use the bridge dates to investigate this.

Its so weird to see maps without interstates

Also, present-day CR13/Old Brick Road (Bunnell to Hastings) is un-numbered. I would have figured it had a Secondary SR number back then.

It was supposed to be part of SR 13, whose definition began at SR 5 in Bunnell, but was probably never taken over by the state or signed north of Espanola.

Also note: A1A includes several bridges; 19 is not complete, 40 goes to New Smyrna.

My pre-1945 undated Official Highway Map shows SR 189 on what is now CR 13/Old Dixie Hwy NW of Espanola. Also, the 1934 Flagler County General Highway Map shows SR 189 on the section NW of Espanola.

A lot of the pre-1945 routes were never taken over by the state. I lack a good source for which ones were. (Of course SR 189 was probably originally state maintained as part of SR 4, but it may have been given to the counties at some point.)
