Possible Old NC 10 Historical Society?

Would anyone else out there in North Carolina be interested in helping form a Old NC 10 Historical Society? I think it doesn't get enough recognition as the pioneer of paved highways in North Carolina.

There are a couple of us in Eastern NC that are interested in the road.
