TX: FM 2499 Closed below Grapevine Dam due to Flooding

FM 2499 SB is closed at Denton Creek due to flooding. NB is still open, but may close later. Heavy rains fell in the Denton Creek watershed NW of the area, now a large amount of water is flowing over the Grapevine Lake spillway, causing this. Interestingly, unlike normal state highway creek or river crossings, the road here is not elevated at all. It is just below Grapevine dam, so I guess they falsely thought that would be sufficient to prevent it from flooding.
