Adjacent state pairs ranked by gap in statehood date

Has anyone tried ranking pairs of states that are adjacent to each other (i.e., have a shared border, even if this is only a point, as at the Four Corners) by the gap between each state's date of admission to the Union?

I suspect the widest such gap in the country is between Missouri (admitted 1821-08-10) and Oklahoma (admitted 1907-11-16).

West Virginia also has a large gap with everything it touches (though not the largest), being split from Virginia long after the whole area was made up of states.

For the closest ones, anything in the 13 colonies (except maybe Rhode Island) would be within 2 years, and Arizona and New Mexico are within 1 year.

I have! Just now!

And you are correct, the MO-OK pairing has the longest gap in admission dates among states that border one another, at about 86.3 years (or 31,508 days to be exact). Not too far behind is PA-WV, at 75.5 years (27,583 days), which is followed very closely by MD-WV at 75.1 years (27,445 days) and VA-WV at 75.0 years (27,387 days).

The shortest gap is ND-SD, both of which were admitted on the same day. Past that, you get a lot of state pairs in the northeast, sorted quite closely by their distance from Philadelphia, as you might imagine would be the case. (This helps explain why so many of WV pairs are clustered together in the top 5.)

Anyway, here is the complete list. I don't think there are any errors, but it's always possible that something escaped me.
