Television Characters that get their just deserts in the end

One of my favorite TV Shows were Bewiched and I Dream of Jeannie.  Not because they had main characters that both had supernatural powers that you wish that you could have as you see them exercised out, but because you had neurotic characters that were both trying to expose the supernatural person to the world with both being obsessed about it.

In Bewiched you had Gladys Kravitz who was always trying to prove to her husband, sometimes the cops, and even at times crazy reporters that Samantha Stephens was not just an ordinary woman.  Of course Darrin, the husband of Samantha was always worried about losing his job, or being made a laughing stock of the community when one of his wives supernatural family members cast a spell on him that always lands him into compromising situations, usually at work, added to not wanting the nosy Mrs. Kravitz from exposing the truth about his wife's ability to do the supernatural added to it.   Therefore you hated Gladys and were always glad that things turned back to normal before someone else came in to see her concerns, mostly her husband Abner.  When she got left looking like a fool was always the best, as most of the stuff she discovered about Samantha was from eavesdropping, peeking in through windows, and just being plain nosy where she does not even mind her own business.

Then on I Dream of Jeannie you had Dr. Bellows who was obsessed with getting Tony Nelson fired and court marshaled for having a supernatural hidden genie while in the NASA space program.  He even gave up retirement to prove that something was odd with Tony as Jeannie, the main character of the show, would often leave Tony in compromising and embarrassing situations like having a boat inside his house, wearing odd out of place clothing while on duty at his military position, or have strange items appear in his office at the base, and other strange.  Dr. Bellows would always try his hardest to expose Tony's weird situations to his superiors, but ends up eating crow as the abnormal situations become normal just as the General comes in to investigate Nelson's strange behavior.  Again, I was always happy to see him look like a fool, as most of his obsessive behavior was driven by just by him being plain nosy and having a suspicious nature which in reality should worry a respected psychiatrist trying for being in this nature for himself.

Then again all of Seinfeld you never felt sorry for as all the characters were too scheming, neurotic, and at times pathetic over simple little vices that in the end of each episode, you loved to see each character get in trouble and get his (or hers in Elaine's case).  The show, of course, was set up that way by its producers, so there was no feeling sorry for anyone, especially in the series finale it was considered just by the show's audience to see all four main characters go to jail and love it.

How about your favorite love to hate characters who always get theirs for whatever reason.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

One of my favorite moments in television history:

Eric Cartman getting his ass kicked by Wendy Testaburger.
