So in that Southern Minnesota construction where both directions share the same side of the highway they only put up pylons? 'Round here that would have been all portable Jersey barrier.

Kentucky used pylons when they put two-way traffic on one carriageway of the Bluegrass Parkway during a couple of recent full-depth rehab projects.

I've only been to Minnesota once, but I think they used pylons on a section of I-90 that had two-way traffic when I drove through it.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

That was quite bipworthy. Thanks! (Unlike youtube, and newspaper articles, for Tim's stuff you do want to read the comments)

This one had a fulfilling amount of Sesame Street and Hazzard talk.

Thanks for the pictures. I assume you hit the southwest end of Isle Royale, the place sometimes called Windigo? I visited the island in 1987 and, while that's a long time ago, I remember Rock Harbor Lodge being much more developed than where you went, so I assume you hit the other end of the island. We went out of Copper Harbor and spent three days on the island. Only time I've ever gotten seasick was on the way over. Fairly small boat in very rough weather.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

On your second page, in the Two Harbors pic, proper terminology for County Rd 11 at that intersection would be CR 11 or CSAH 11.

On your third page on the second pic, a combination of MnDOT and the DNR are slowly adding a parallel bike/ped path along MN 61.  That bridge you see is part of the trail.

About halfway down on your fifth page, US 65 was colocated with I-35 when I-35 was built.  Old US 65 is not within view of your photo.
