Thousands of people die every month. It's the 21st Century...can we all agree to drop the silly phrase "dying in threes"?

Another sad loss, though.

He was one of the Eagles main players.  Most of their good stuff is with him at the vocals.  He not only will be missed, but if the Eagles choose to go on, it will not be the same.  Even Ol 55 has split vocals with him and Henley doing the fronting, and so does After The Thrill Is Gone.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

There were a lot of songs that Henley and Frey co-wrote, but very few that they shared lead vocals on. Probably because they were both unrepentant egomaniacs. I highly recommend the recent History of the Eagles documentary.

I have "The One You Love" on a YouTube playlist. I can personally relate to it.
