Fastest urban dropoff along a route?

Where's the fastest drop-off from an urban core to rural outskirts along a single route?
My nomination would be along I-80 headed eastbound into SLC, as you go from fairly barren salt flats to the I-15 junction downtown in the space of about 5 miles.
