California SR 18 Business - Big Bear Lake, CA (San Bernardino County)

At 0.6 miles, this is one of the shortest routes I have seen in the TravelMapping database.

Here are two views from the western approach to this segment: the junction sign of sorts, and the arch over the roadway.  This short highway (two city road sections that join at right angles) have numerous small stores and restaurants bordering them - a true 'business district'.

Old CA 30, I don't think that I ever determined if it made into the realignment of CA 18 to the south shore of Big Bear Lake during the 1964 renumbering.

Is anyone aware if this business 18 through the village a historic routing of 18, or whether it was just used as a way of diverting business travelers to the businesses?

Shows up as CA 18 on a 1975 Topographical and CA 30 on a 1963 edition.  I believe these were the editions I was referring to when I did CA 18 on Gribblenation.
