Longest Stretch of Highway Where You've Used Every Exit

Revive 755

If only counting exits in the same direction, Exit 220 (IL 23 at Pontiac) to Exit 133 (north end of the business Loop for Lincoln) on SB I-55 in Illinois.

If loosening to just be getting off at an interchange in either direction - which also avoids questions on whether to count the ramps to I-74 EB [which I can't recall using] and Business 55 NB as one or two exits - I can extend that down to Exit 123 (south end of the business loop at Lincoln).

ModernDayWarrior

Interstate 44 in Missouri, every exit from 113 (MO-J/MO-Y, Conway) to 264 (MO-109, Eureka).

RoadRebel

All 67 miles of Charlotte's Outerbelt (I-485).

Approximately 85 miles of I-77 from Exit 48 in South Carolina to Exit 42 in North Carolina.
Keep right (not middle) except to pass!

Quote from: bassoon1986 on June 19, 2021, 08:21:39 PMAre we counting examples where we combine a stretch of freeway with all exits used with a connecting freeway with more exits in a different direction?

No.

Just went on a trip and used two more interchanges on I-90.

So, every exit from NY 33 in Buffalo, NY to MA 146 in Worcester, MA = 408 miles.

Extended my stretch a smidge on the west end.  Really should take that MA 122 exit someday.  I've only driven past it about 100 times and I'd extend all the way to the MA-16 exit...

Anyway, US 219 to MA 146 on I-90 = 412 miles. :D

And now, I have used all exits on Interstate 90 from Exit 228 in Ohio -- OH 11, to Exit 94 on the Mass Pike -- US 20 MA 146 (and 122A) = 540 miles.

I am all that is Man.

Now: I-90, Exit 228 (OH 11) to Exit 123 (I-95 in MA).  570 miles.

Never took the half MA-16 interchange, I don't believe, although I've always liked the big ramp on the north side.

Now: I-90, MA 1A (eastern terminus) to Exit 228 in Ohio (OH 11).  585 miles.

Now: I-90, MA 1A (eastern terminus) to Exit 188 in Ohio (I-271, Local Lanes): 625 miles.  Not sure that I'll extend this through Cleveland anytime soon...have only taken a few of the exits in the city itself.

Hot Rod Hootenanny

Not very long for me.
I-71 in Ohio - 189 miles (exits 45 - 234)
I-70 in Ohio - 191 miles (exits 24 - 213)
Please, don't sue Alex & Andy over what I wrote above

*Jabba laughs*

'Bout time I did this.  Went through the thread and came up with the below table, prioritizing single routes, rather than multiroutes (included some of them that were mentioned in the right columns).  Did it very quickly, taking what information was provided; wouldn't be surprised if I made mistakes, especially in states that more recently converted to mileage-based exits.  So, when exits were given, but no mileage, I made a quick estimate.  From here on out (and this thread seems to have died down considerably over the last couple of years), if you don't provide mileage, that's on you.

Probably screwed up roadgeeks that posted repeatedly in the thread mentioning longer and shorter stints as well...

And, for posts where people used "ish" or "not sure if I got Exit X" or anything along those lines, I mostly ignored such, unless there was a lot of context.  Table's only for those certain of what they've done.

So, again, exits and mileage that are updated will update the table.

Interesting that the top four are all I-90 and all involve the Thruway.

Even though I didn't post here at the time (I reported it on Discord), I did take that numberless exit on A-23 just North of Zaragoza. The precise figure for the section I've taken every exit is 229 km, or 142 miles in your units.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Excellent.  Since it didn't change much in the table, I just edited the one above.

Might have to do with a disproportionate number of people on here that have lived or are living in New York. :D

My longest is 160 miles on I-80, from I-294 to OH 49.

I'm 2 exits on the north side of Indy away from having 265 miles on I-65.
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

Pretty sure for me it's gonna be I-64 from US 150 in Floyd's Knobs, IN to WV 307 east of Beckley.  Around 324 miles, give or take a couple.

kphoger

I'd actually be more interested to see "longest" defined as "number of exits in a row" rather than "miles".
