Looks like they ended up going back and replacing the signs properly. Those patches must've been temporary fixes until they got new signs in.

However, "LANE ONLY" remains. Why they couldn't make it "RAMP ONLY" I don't know.  :banghead:

:) Needs more... :sombrero: Not quite... :bigass: Perfect.

I feel like this sign is not nearly bad enough to make the "Worst of Road Signs" thread, but it is a truly impressive goof by TxDOT:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/8uP2MrRbV81xVhbq8

"NO TRUCKS LANE LEFT?" Well, where did the truck lanes go?! Did they go on vacation? Were they lane-napped? Did the lane cheat on its spouse?

Inconsistent arrows at the westbound M-96/BL I-94 split on the east side of Battle Creek.

Advance sign:  Columbia Avenue and M-96 straight ahead, Michigan Avenue and BL I-94 to the right:

At the split:  Columbia Avenue and M-96 to the left, Michigan Avenue and BL I-94 straight ahead:

I think the advance assembly/sign is newer, but it wasn't designed to match the other existing one.

I recall Lane Left with that French exchange student after they fixed the old Camaro.

The people who designed that sign went to high school for *seven* years. They're no dummies.

Quote from: 74/171FAN on January 03, 2024, 07:55:33 PMOn SR 950 SB near SR 668 in Midlothian, VA, but why is Midlothian hyphenated?  (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10219793209021188&set=a.10219794100283469)

The park is named after the original mining company that operated the mines in the area, which hyphenated Midlothian. The hyphenate is an archaic spelling for the location in Scotland that the Midlothian in Virginia is named for.
