I didn't get any pictures of this. I-555 had a similar thing happen when it was initially granted IH status back in 2017 across the drainage ditch/Right Hand Chute Little River between exits 14-18.
I think they're waiting for a Congressional exemption to allow farm vehicles to use the bridge over the White River before they can sign that stretch as I-57. The bridge itself and the roadway on either side are all up to interstate standards, but because farmers use that stretch to get to their fields on either side of the river, it needs the Congressional exemption to allow farm vehicles. Same thing happened when they were trying to designate US-41 in Wisconsin as I-41.

I wasn't paying too much attention to the shields there, but I don't think so? GSV seems to confirm that too, as there's some April 2025 imagery showing I-57 shields near Bradford, but not north of there.

The 2025 Arkansas official highway map shows the stretch between exits 69 and 74 as solo US 67.

With all of the many examples of Arkansas not signing US highways worth two hoots in hell when concurrent with an interstate, they might as well put all of the US highways back on their original 2-lane paths (marked as "AR 3[former US highway number]) where possible. I hate the gaps ARDOT creates in US routes.
Runnin' roads and polishin' rails.

The Ghostbuster

It will probably take quite a while to replace all the US 64/67/167 signage with Interstate 57 signage.
